Here's what I've been reading for the last couple days. It's funny as well as educational. I heard A. J. Jacobs interviewed on the radio (On 'Coast, Dec. 15th, 2007) and was interested immediately.

As I read, I've been running back and forth to my computer googling things mentioned in the book, to give myself some visual reference. I've had a few "Oooooh, now I understand" moments. I recommend it, for whatever my opinion is worth.

I did this silly cartoon for Rose. We have a duvet, with a blue cover on our bed. The duvet gets bunched up and twisted inside the cover, so we've named it the blob. So.... here I am with our pal "The Blob"

NEW INDI MOVIE AT THE "ALAMO"

I'v got the new toon up, a one off departure from the story line, but I had to put up something after I saw the new Indiana jones movie.

There is a real Alamo theatre in Bucksport the real town that Bugsport is based on. When I was drawing this cartoon, I looked up their site, and they happened to be playing the new Indi movie.

If you ever get out there, stop by and see what's on. It's a pretty nice theatre.

In answer to a recent comment asking how I do the strip.

I draw the cartoons traditionally in pen and ink on paper. I scan them into the computer, and paint them with photoshop elements... yup that simple
